Competitiveness of Status Collectors?

QC dudes, want to get a vote going. The question is: If a status collector at qc (sr staff eng/managers and principal eng/managers) were to apply to 10 positions at competitive silicon valley companies (Facebook, Uber, Google, Netflix, etc or startups) that require similar experience to what they have as engineers. How many offers would get on the average?

My estimate is 0, but wanted to understand what y'all think about it.

That's y I mentioned these top tier companies. Like they will ask technical and coding questions. U think those noobs can have a chance at that?

Zip! Zilch! Nada! Unless, of course, they had access to valuable IP while working at Qualcomm. Even then, if they didn't pan out they'd be lucky to last more than a year or two.
