1) Setup weekly meeting with your team. At the meetings keep bullshitting so people engage you in circular conversations and it takes over an hour. Whatever you have to do make sure to show up to the meeting at least 15 minutes late.
2) Ask for weekly status from everybody, skim over and delete them as they come.
3) Attend planning meetings. Make sure to bullshit so people think you're doing actual work, try everything to domineer the conversation. Make sure to attend at least 5 such meetings a day.
4) Never be available to any member of your team.
5) Prepare some powerpoint slides for upcoming meetings.
6) Attend your team's weekly meeting and get a high level sense of whatever smoke everybody is blowing.
7) Enjoy the view from your window office and your paycheck and the weather.
