This company is run by day dreamers. The competition is right at your door step and eating your breakfast and lunch. Good luck.

Newsflash to Whole Foods: home delivery of groceries isn't anything new ---expect your darling Millenial demographic to be completely underwhelmed. What is this obsession with Millenials anyway? Older people still buy and eat food last time I checked! Besides, Millenials have so much student debt they can't afford to shop Wholepaycheck---they're too smart and way ahead of you John Mackey and crew, you'll never catch up

Yes, enough with the millennials already. Their idea of a big trip to the grocery store is a basket size of like $15.

The only problem is that we have no idea what's in stock. Imagine placing an order and you get a big list of out of stocks. Plus this isn't exactly exclusive technology. Lots of stores either already do it or are doing the same thing. Meanwhile, my sister gets everything she needs at her nearby Publix, Fresh Market or online. Time to borrow another billion dollars because she is one of MILLIONS of people who really don't care about changing the food culture of Jackson Mississippi or how much we spent on track lighting and reclaimed wood from an old mill being used in our dining area.

Grocery delivery and shopping services are all over the place. In my area, there's a service that exclusively shops Publix and delivers the goods fresh to the customers. NOT a big deal whatsoever. Delivering stuff is not high tech nor some major breakthrough innovation. Plus with all the out of stocks there's no point anyway. I imagine it will be ditched once the returns and botched orders start piling up, because remember, this is US trying to manage it.

Won't this kill stores that have a concierge and make their position obsolete? This sucks. I love our concierge because of the personal touches he puts on shops and the clientele he has built over time.

So why not we, offer to use Instacart to take the tatoo artist to the home of the guest to get tattooed. Aren't we all about taking care of our guests? Hey, we offer at your home service too. The next thing 'at home masseur service' the WFM way 365 days a year. I am excited. Just take out your discount and get 20 off. No returns!

Can anyone respond? Just what is the crux of this? Has WFM just made an investment in Instacart?

Sigh. If I read "targeting Millennials" in an article one more time I may strangle someone. Correct me if I'm wrong, but people in other age boxes still eat food, right?

The Acai verde bowl from Jugo Fresh is $20 and we are working so hard cutting prices and eliminate the "Whole paycheck" perception. This is half a meal for a person.
