Thread regarding Weatherford International Ltd. layoffs

Layoffs happening at SJP today

I can confirm because I am one of laid-off.

If you're still working at WFT, what are you waiting for? The grass IS greener on the other side, while on WFT's side, the grass is dead or is dying a fast death.

Get out while you can. The company will not be paying out any bonuses to employees unless they are executives, I know this for a fact.

Godspeed to all who stick around and think it's going to get better.

Ahhh, well that explains everything. You are one of those cheap H1B visa Indians who are now a slave to the company. Isn't it nice to be in a country where there is clean water. Have you learned to use toilet paper yet? Or, are you still using your hands? Don't be discouraged and keep working on those language skills. Catch ya' later Swami.

Well I guess I am with the "grammar nazi". If you can't read and write English, then you should be near the top on the layoff list. How do like that?

That should read "...bad arse grammar Nazi at WFT." You probably wouldn't know a proper noun if it smacked you in the face. :)

Here are a few more tips on writing.

1) Avoid alliteration. Always.

2) Prepositions are not words to end sentences with.

3) Avoid cliches like the plague.

4) Comparisons are as bad as cliches.

5) Writers should never generalize.

Six) Be consistent.

7) Don't be redundant; don't use more words than necessary; it's highly superfluous.

8) Who needs rhetorical questions?

9) Exaggeration is a billion times worse than understatement.

Are you still employed "their?" How can you hold down a job without knowing the basics? There is a difference between "there", "they're" and "their".
