Just wondering if anyone got a merit raise. I haven't had my meeting yet, but so far I haven't heard of anyone else getting a raise. Of course, a 0% raise sure beats unemployment.

Gotta love the ignorance and victimization displayed here... Structure was frozen, a few people get promoted out of PSG and a few got promoted in, PSG percent of CO drops to less than 100%, net result is a little bit of money for minor merit increases,
@3sbn, it's the usual lies everyone is told on a daily basis at Chevron. Management says one thing and does another. If you are not in the club, you are only a pawn.
So the ass kissers did and the rest didn't?? My boss told me nobody was getting one, I would never expect him to tell the truth. And yea, I thought Watson said everything was frozen and no competitive objectives moved, so I would love to know how some people got them. Better wipe that shit off your noses.

I didn't and didn't expect one after the BS talk about salary freezes. My manager said I would have received one if not for the freeze but I just laughed because I knew some others were getting raises. I asked him to never insult my intelligence like that again.

@1nvr. There are no structural raises: the PSG bands are frozen. However, if your CO% moves or you change PSG, of course you get a raise.

Stated at town hall "salary actions are frozen" . Now people are finding out about raises?
Who cares of merit increase when heads are going to roll in the ROM. It is foolhardy even to talk of merit increase now.
Cut to 5% this year from 8% last year.

Horizons pay increases are mostly standardized. Not too fast or too slow regardless of performance. Truth?
ive heard horizons employees are on standard schedules for the most part. Won't let them move to fast or too slow. After first year 10k raise and psg bump is standard to boost morale. After that don't expect to move PSg or salary as much for 2 years.
Less than 1/2% here too. Surprised to see the petrotech there at all. Overall a little more than 2.5% decrease in pay. May not have a job much longer. We'll see. I will take what I can get for now.
I received a 3.98% merit increase. Not bad. I expected half of that.
@xfb, a PSG bump yielding a 6% salary increase is called a promotion. Congratulations.
I got a 2 on my PMP, received a PSG bump which equated to a 6% raise.....
2.68% merit increase. I got a 2.
I received a very small merit increase. less than 1/2 %.

John Watson announced it already... salary freeze across the board. I wouldn't expect a merit increase either unless you are rated a 1 or 2+. Even so, don't plan on buying a big ticket item this year.
