Fair enough and I agree. Hopefully the majority of good people in scope will displace the weaker performers outside the "conniving manager's" reach. There was over a week to come up with a strategy of posting, if you truly wanted to stay employed with this company.
But there will always be some great talent cut when reducing headcount by this much this fast.
The process is far from perfect.
For the record it is not only "deadwood" they are getting rid of on this ESP. There are many who are victims of conniving managers trying to protect favorites and get rid of really bright people. Stop tainting everyone with the deadwood brush. Some folks are highly competent, loyal Chevron employees who have no recourse against these schemers, best we can do is post here to bring attention to this issue.

Chevron's leadership on many levels are a joke. They themselves know who they are... a string of idiots pretending to lead and inspire productivity.
I do have hope. But then I looked around at the leadership and will go back to an independent when this market turns....
