Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Serious question....

How many of the new hires at Qualcomm (--percentage since 2014--) were H1-B or other "visitor visa" employees who were also unmarried males in their 20's or early 30's?

I have "figured on my own." My figures show that the people laid off were not "underperformers" in the true sense of the word. In many cases they were the best in our group/division at the work being done. They also obviously weren't the highest paid--because if Qualcomm wanted to cut bodies with less impact they would have decimated the Managers and Directors who were overpaid, and had only marginal technical skills, first. Most of the people RIF-ed in my group were older, were married with families, and a few were women. A couple also had family members with severe medical conditions. Qualcomm hired on extra help last fall. Most were H1-Bs or contract workers. To my knowledge, all were single males. In case you haven't figured this out yet, the people RIF-ed in my group all had actuarial variables that increase the cost of group health care for employers. I just wanted to know if it happened all over the company.
