There is a concept called "constructive dismissal". You might try researching it and see if it applies to your situation.

Well of course that's why they took away the guarantee 40 hours. Anyone who doesn't see this is a moron. The severance packages are getting expensive, so this is a way to basically make you quit and they in turn do not have to spend all that money on you.
They are cutting the hours because they don't want to give packages but want people to just quit. They don't give a crapt if you are homeless or not.
In some cases it's better to be laid off. When our income goes down to literally nothing I don't see the point of staying around. I'll take the severance pay and chance to look for a new job rather than hang on by a thread.
Yep, would you rather that 25% of your co-workers were laid off? What if you were in that 25%?
.
Be thankful you still have 30 and aren't in the unemployment line.
To the post below.Bite my A $$ troll
why don't you just go to Wal-Mart and quick crying
US Labour Laws / Employment Rights are prehistoric. In the UK you are actually protected by laws, in the US you guys just get walked or hours cut. Crazy. What happened to the American Dream?
No it's not. It's the difference between full and part time and if you get benefits or not.
IT IS BRO
