How did this Murthy Jerk ever go up high on this ladder. He has no management skills. Maybe he has scholasitcally good (I am not sure, just guessing that). One should learn even if you are not good. But he goes into FULL ATTACK mode and thinks needs a skeletal staff to do 2x work. Intel will regret this move in 5 years!

Personally, I've never had to deal with him. But apparently his favorite mode of communication is yelling at people, and bullying them. He's in Northern CA, now--land of easily-bruised self-esteem. The guy is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Somehow, I doubt that there's an exception in the Intel employee handbook that permits executive level employees to act like jerks toward the rank and file.
If murthy pays me $2m, I wouldn't hire him. He is that messed up.
Closes the gap? Intel has 99% share. Don't hold your breath.

I think Intel should give him a BIG retention bonus. Q did that and he left shortly after.
Intel is finished anyway. Just a matter of time until ARMH closes the gap in the server market. End of story
