@-icx, Sorry that you feel that way but that is more years of paid employment than a lot of us got from CVX. And you get a sweet severance pkg. You could have done much worse. CVX needs to cut bodies. It's not as personal as you are making it out to be. I suggest that you don't burn bridges. If you are still young and competent you should have a bright career ahead of you and invaluable experience to bring with you.
I got back from my appointed meeting. I got canned. My job position was eliminated, I was told. I bet these a$$holes reinstate the job position within 3 months under another title. Yet I get the axe after 12 years and excellent PMP's and rankings. I was told to stay on through the end of the month to transition some tasks I did to other employees. Screw them. I will not transfer any meaningful knowledge to anyone. Not after the way I and others were treated today.
LOLOLOL. Chill out, don't want you to have to get medevaced. Sorry I'm not sure what they make.. You're right- it's probably not that high. Probably closer to 8 or 7 whatever.. The point was the direction of your (whoever posted before me's) anger and bitterness over people being put through this $hitty situation by people making millions of dollars above them shouldn't be taken out on people barely making minimum wage.
"$12 an hour" To clean toilets? That's more than I make stocking shelves. No wonder they have to cut people at Chevron. People think that cleaning toilets should grant you the right to feed an entire family of anchor babies, that the rest of the world owes you that, to fix your mistakes, placate your twisted logic, and backwards, greedy thinking. Must be nice. Just have more babies to collect more entitlements paid for by others.

Excellent! You should have stuffed the toilet with a roll of toilet paper and then flushed it to make it overflow. Smells like victory.
I just took a nasty dump at 1400 Smith on the first floor restrooms without flushing. I hope they go in there for their surprise.
