Do your research boy, if your talking Appalachian Basin and that's it Hilcorp is far from the best. How much gas does Hilcorp produce from the marcellus and utica? What area is Hilcorp currently developing?

Once again dumbass I didn't say Hilcorp isn't a good company but if your talking Appalachian Basin they are lower tier.

Really on the safety the company was forced to suspend drilling operations in a county in ohio, and has had multiple fires in pa. Lol typical chevron retard doesn't know what is going on in the industry they work in, only knows what chevron has told him or her.

I am in AMBU and I can say that Chevron is saying HilCorp is the best. Cost, safety, execution. And to my knowledge they are the only company that WAS GIVEN A BILLIIN DOLLARS from a private equity firm to acquire land. So I would do my homework before shooting your mouth off.

You're an idiot to say Hilcorp is the best in the Appalachian Basin... Do some research before you talk out your ass

Chevron took the top tier D&C out and placed several around The organization. The rest, except for a few dozen, will be payed off late summer. AMBU had 1.5 billion slated for NOJV work. XTO, Rice, Equitable Gas, HilCorp. That figure is now 200 million. The same as the proposed budget for the BU. Chevron will NOJV work ONLY for lease holds. And it won't be Chevron employees doing it. The best operator in that basin is HilCorp. At current gas prices they would loose 15 cents an M. Chevron would loose $2 an M. So everyone will be layed off. And of course Chevron is not telling the truth. But I am!!!!!

Were there any layoffs this time around in ambu? Any downsizing? I used to work there but got out awhile back.

They will exist as an NOJV for the next 5 years, until NG prices turn. It is a shame but market forces demand that they idle the buisness.

They are not drilling. They plan for a rig by summer. One rig does not make a BU. But they are not even going to get a rig.

I asked leadership in February about AMBU as my wife's family is from there and her Mom is ill. The answer was we will idle the BU.

I have never been there but I can 100% tell you in every meeting they make it clear that AMBU has no budget for 4 years. They are also placing the A team D&C folks throughout Chevron in this ESP.

The plan is to idle the Marcellus/Utica until late gas and NGA's prices moderate.

The org is 37 people by the end of the year for JV work.

Watson and leadership have been consistent on not investing in the Marcellus. The price has been at a buck an M for a while now.
