In some cases, foreign workers were brought to USA because Chevron operates the their country, and training those nationals was a requirement to do business there.
Just because your raised as no child left behind in America, doesn't mean the rest of the world will tolerate no workers left behind. Get an education. Work harder. The world is coming for your job.

I saw the submit date you fu/cktard. It still doesn't change the fact that Chevron got rid of American citizen workers while letting foreign H1B visa workers keep their jobs. If this were any other country, the expats would be shown the door without hesitation.
And Chevron chooses to hire (and fire) foreign workers, not the government.
