You hit it on the head, they never ask because they think they know, but they don't know sh--. People in the brick my be intelegent but they are arrogant, but most importantly they don't have common sense. This plant needs common sense and that's what management lacks in boat loads.

The best thing about our managers is there too busy stabbing each others back to really mess with us that much. Has anyone else noticed that the managers will do ANYTHING they can to cause trouble for each other, and Production control will do anything they can to kill a project??? Honestly can ANYONE on here honestly say that someone from the brick has ever came to them and asked the following question “ In what order do you need the parts to build this rig “
Pampa can build anything! Employees have to use half-assed methods & moronic procedures conceived in the brick building. Our machines don't kill people, but the brick building has been killing this plant for years! Crackheads, suckasses & cock smokers have run this plant for years.
I agree we can build anything that any other NOV facility can build, but we need new leadership that is not scared to do their job! They are about to lose some good people due to all the bullshit that has been going on. Good luck people!

I don’t know who you are or where you are from BUT let me tell you some things about the Pampa plant and the people that work there. Unlike MOST of the NOV plants around the world Pampa and her people are unique, The products that they build are 100% hand built most with very old outdated prints that are poor at best. Manufacturing decisions have to be made at the floor level to get the product out the door and in fact the rigs are built from an idea from engineering perfected on the floor and red lined and sent back to engineering for corrections. There is no other plant in the NOV family that can accomplish that the things that Pampa does. OUR PRODUCTS KILL?? NO SIR people kill not products?? In fact there isn’t a product in the NOV lineup that can’t be built in PAMPA Texas. Why do I say that? Because we do have the people that can accomplish the task at hand E2100 draworks, State of the art Surguit Rigs, work over rigs, Blocks , swivels, Rotary tables, Mud pumps, gear boxes, mobile chassis, derricks, Iron roughnecks have been built here, back hoes , track hoes, amclide tugger winches There isn’t one single product that we CANT take away from any other NOV plant and build . We might fuss and fight among our selves but just try to come mess with this plant and we will take away everything you have. How the f--- is Pampa still even open for business?
