Yes I heard of some of the stories of Supervisors that screwed over people, they are not allowed down the bayou or they will be shot. this is from years ago. I just got word he was let go. Karma Baby !

I was selected to be canned by a long term (useless) manager. He was a moody type of person who didn't particularly like anyone who shined more than him. He was a strange bird, sometimes happy and upbeat, and sometimes quiet and somber. I guess the 35+ years got to him. He retired after I and others were let go. Like a previous poster said, Karma is a bitch. He will get his 10-fold.

OP - Sorry to hear you got screwed over by one of the "Hi Pot" managers of Chevron. It appears to be the standard Method of Operation by some of the managers. I know how you feel. I worked for one of these type of people for 4 years before he got moved on to another position. I have worked at other companies before I came to Chevron and I can tell you the some of the management team at Chevron basically suck. Best of luck to you in finding a new job.
