It was told to supervisors thurs. that Pampa workers may have to go to a 32 hour week! I bet the people in the brick office will still get their 40 hours. They'll have one group start on Monday, and another start on Tuesday so they can get 40 hours. We'll see, but the brick won't take a pay cut. Only the scummy, low life workers will.

Wow, stop blaming the plant managers. Whoever they are or however bad or good they may have been is irrelevant. The fact is that your plant is not in Mexico, India or China and without a market to sell a rig to coupled with the fact that your rig is double the price of those made in other low-labor countries means the plant needs to close. Your managers may be terrible but they didn't cause the global economic and market conditions that makes you and your facility obsolete.
Your damn right it needs to be shut down....just about everyone that works out there deserves a hard kick in the balls from good ole karma.
After reading these posts I've come to the conclusion that your plant deserves to get shut down.

Hate to say it but most everything here is correct. Nobody understands what we go through to make a good part. Previous management came in and threw away all of our fixtures in fab and Ms. What the hell were they thinking? Now we have to deal with our incompetent management. Not going to mention any names but we all know who they are. We lost all of the good Supervisors over the years who respected us and now look at what we have. It really sucks to work here now. It's a job though.
