Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

no reply from HR

Has anyone had any luck contacting HR after being let go ? They simply will not reply to my e-mails with some questions about the paperwork that needs to be signed.

There were close to 5000 people participating in the ESP, and about 3000 jobs posted.

If there was only a way to figure out how many layoffs there were.

@GVukVlw-sug not correct - DWEP-HR actually has a separate e-mail address and does respond to e-mails from folks 'left standing'

@qsg, you mock the system. Each ex-employee just needs to understand that many former employees are also calling in at the same time and the company resources will be stretched thin. So, each retiree needs to act promptly, be patient and take meticulous notes about what was discussed, when and who they talked to and the approx resolution date. They need to be aware that Chevron HRSC does not communicated via email either. The ADP Cobra Services company is also stretched to capacity, so act quickly there too. Use FedEx or US Priority Mail for important correspondence as they offer a trackable means or delivery confirmation. Most importantly: Take good notes. You may need to refer back to them. I did this. I had a few hiccups, but having my notes, following up diligently, and not wasting a day, helped me get everything done smoothly.

Oh just wait until you start dealing with the HRservice center, ADP, etc. That's when the fun will really begin....

Dear OP, your former HR department or business partner will not respond to you. You must contact the Chevron HR Service Center at 1-888-TALK2HR or go through the Chevron HR website at www.hr2.chevron.com. If you use the website, you will need to use the "Login with PIN" feature. Automatic login only works with your company badge. If you don't remember your PIN, contact HRSC through the phone number I provided. Be patient when contacting the HRSC as many retired employees are also calling in. Be sure to express your needs clearly and take notes of who you talked to, the date and time of your call, and the date in which you should be receiving a call back or resolution.
