Nothing that we're seeing are indications of a company on the rebound that's turned the corner and ready for some kind of miraculous resurgence. All of those regional nothing-burgers and execs are STILL THERE sucking up money. The Hunger Games job consolidations continue and it's not solving the fundamental problems. Where are the vast technological improvements? Oh right, digital coupons and Instacart. The song and dance routine continues but something just smells funny. This quiet period is too quiet. What exactly was that meeting with ASTLs about?

Yes, I don't get why people come here to talk in vague terms about the company being up to something rotten. I feel like that's pretty obvious at this point. What I visit this site for is to see what facts are out there regarding more people being laid off, more asinine decisions being made by mis-management, etc.
Although I do agree with the poster, about the silence. Some of my friends still work at multiple locations, and they are saying how management is acting like everything's wonderful, while the average TM is uncertain whether they'll be able to finish their shift without 'news'. There seems to be no common ground at all anymore between TMs and Mis-management.
@GZI8 Yeah, no kidding. I got out a while ago and feel bad for those who are still there. It's depressing to go into a store -- I was at the Streeterville store last night and the place really needed to be cleaned. Tables were dirty, bathroom needed to be cleaned, and the "sale" item was a 6-pack of 21st Amendment beer for $10.99, which I can buy at REGULAR price at another grocery store for $9.99
I'm making more money at a better job, and don't have to put up with the craziness and low-morale. I'd advise others to get out -- there's a much better market now and you'll feel better.
