The Iranians overthrew the Shah of Iran thinking they were going to get a better government to replace the Shah, instead they got the Mullahs. The Mullahs are a lot worse than the Shah. Be careful what you wish for. Trump is going to make everything worse.

If you vote for Clinton there may well not be a US by time she is in office even for a brief time. We are discouraged by the fact that so many US citizens across this country appear to have no more moral values and are no more honest than Clinton – otherwise they would not be supporting her. We need someone with the guts to stand up for the US for a change. Oil and gas are not the only issues in the US.

You do realize that most Democrats who have voted for Trump in the Primary did so, not because they believe in him, but because it was a very smart strategic move. They know that Hillary will be the Democratic Nominee in the General so they want her to run against Trump. Hillary has proven she is as every bit a fighter as he is and she will become the President. You should also know that 6 out of 10 Republicans will not vote for Trump. They will either write in their candidate, not vote or will vote for Hillary all as a protest vote against Trump. Trump is a Democrat who hijacked the Republican Party so if he is the Nominee, it only means that you have a choice between Hillary who is a Democrat or Trump who is also a Democrat. I do not want Hillary to win but I will vote for Hillary over Trump if he is the Republican Nominee and that will be the first time I have ever voted for a Democrat! Oh, and one last thing, if Trump is the Republican Nominee, then you can kiss the Republican Majority in the Senate good-bye!

OP - I was (okay,... still am, to a degree) a cynic, when it comes to Trump. But, as others herein have mentioned,... he's certainly kicking up some dust with the establishment. And THAT, folks, is EXACTLY what needs to happen! Look at Chevron, for instance,... what's the number one complaint we all have? POOR MANAGEMENT,... am I right? Well, same with our current political parties,... entrenched party hard-liners, who are becoming rich at the expense of those they're pretending to serve. The politicians keep US fighting amongst ourselves over issues that most of us (if we're honest) don't really dwell on, to any extent,... race, gender equality, sexual preference, et al. Same crap is going on at Chevron,... all the touchy-feely garbage that HR thrives on serves ONLY to draw boundaries, build walls, and alienate us, as a group. When you get down to it, the majority of us could give a good rat's ASS about the "differences" between ourselves and others, except that, it's usually those differences that make Life interesting. It's been my experience that most of us, regardless of what "class" we may reside in, have no interest, no innate dislike, no seething hatred, no vendetta, against those who our politicians and management constantly remind us "are different". I don't know if Trump will actually BE any different, but I'll tell you this,... he's certainly running a different kind of campaign, his ideas are both courageous and sensible, and he TERRIFIES the political establishment of BOTH parties. That's enough, for me.

  • 77% of his statements are a lie or a partial truth

  • 4 times bankrupt, will bankrupt us

  • His 'tough on the world' talk will not work, he's all about tariffs but that goes both ways, everyone will get #*#@!

  • He flip flops on everything, every position he has now, he changed many times, will change again

  • My father fought in Italy in 1944, he quotes Mussolini now? In the USA? Never...

What's Trump gonna do for the oil industry? He's gonna start another war in the middle east like Dick Cheney did?

Believe we're just on the verge of seeing the first Big Fight,... the Republican establishment will go after Trump, after today (Super Tuesday). They're frightened. The see their jobs, cliques, and status all threatened (I hope). What happens between now and the Republican convention will be as important as the eventual defeat of Clinton. While I'm not completely in Trump's corner (more of a Cruz supporter), I admire the support he's been able to garner, and I REALLY applaud him for shaking the Republican establishment, to it's very core. Just hope he can seal the deal and in doing so, maybe change the course of America, for the better.
