Why no buyers let go? Why do they still need 3 buyers when there's nothing to buy because they have no orders? And really / why hire a buyer 4 from somewhere else and pay his hotel and meal expenses and have to train him in WFT systems and ways? Was there no one qualified from this area? Same thing with the lady in the whse? WFT paying her hourly wages plus providing housing and meals? You lay off 4 people in the same dept and yet you pay her living expenses in addition ? The layoffs wouldn't be so hard to take if you could justify why you get rid of some and then keep some deadbeats who have no loyalty to the company. The way I heard it is the managers Don't even have a say in who they keeping Correction : The "so called" manager who are really just hourly workers who are fall guys for actual salaried managers. Talk about a no brainier. Do all the work , work crazy hours and take responsibility for stuff you don't get paid for ..yeah ..you got the title and you'll get the blame but you got none of the perks of being salaried. You guys have a Eeoc lawsuit when u get ready.
