Thread regarding Weatherford International Ltd. layoffs

Favoritism in California

Hey are Beau and Bret Eberhard brothers still being protected by daddy Edward Eberhard? How many more heads have rolled just to keep these spoiled brats employed at weatherford?? I guess that in this big coporation it's who you know not what you know. I guess I'm just a bit jealous that my father didn't babysit me until I was in my 30's. I know old bald head Eddie will retire like a bandit from this company. Maybe he can take his worthless kids with him. Those boys never earned there keep.

Yes they are still being protected. If anything, their duties have increased

Wouldn't sound so bad if they weren't two little cocksuckers

I worked at the Creek road facility. I can only guess that the earlier post is about Derek Herndon and his dad Jeff, also his supervisor, in the machine shop. Derek was a real piece of you know what. That guy loved to gossip and be in everyone's business, instead of doing his job. I enjoyed the time I had at Weatherford, but glad I was able to move on to a different industry. Good luck to those that are still there.

A dad that has paid his dues and worked his way up the ladder deserves to be able to give his kid the opportunity to work at the same outfit, nobody can argue that, but the post is about favoritism and now that hundreds are being let go who are more experienced, does dad's opportunity turn into dad's protection at other's expense.

I guess y'all didn't work hard enough as Eddie did in your life span, moving up the food chain and having kids! Soon enough Eddie will be playing golf, smoking those cigars, drinking his wine, and laughing at you worthless bozos worrying about Beau and Bret. How about putting your foot to pedal and make a difference at WFT instead of worrying about others! Hope y'all make it through the layoffs at WFT and are still able to buy from my business. Thanks for the support.

The oilfield have always been about families working together. Hell that's the only way a lot of them get new employees. People hate nepotism until it benefits themselves, the they're okay with it shockingly.

Hate to see this kind of favoritism but nothing shocks me anymore at Weatherford, so typical of the buddy system or in this case the parental system.

Grown men still suckling from the teet, very sad. Parents won't be around forever then they will have to fend for themselves but very unfair that others have to loose their jobs to keep spoiled kids around and given recent promotion I might add.

That sounds like that father/son team up in Bakersfield out on Creek Road, well at least the son, from what I hear. Sounds like a real ringer.
