About 3 years ago one of GOMBU's metrics was to spud the Linehem Creek well before the end of the year. Guess what!!!!!! we hit that metric by spudding the well December 31, 2011! Put a power swivel and a 6" rock bit on the bottom of a pole truck and you get a green dot; metric complete- we spudded the well.

Wouldn't be able to raise the derrick until 6 weeks later in Feb. I'm sure that this press release issued by the company is the same.

I do believe that they ended up with the deepest hole in Louisiana. Put the completions team SOL. I'm sure the DRL guys got "atta boys".

We'll purchase LNG and transfer it to another ship to claim first cargo if needed.

I am not bragging, but relieved. What has happened has happened in regards to cost and schedule. Don't understand why folks working for this company pray daily for its failure. Like T Swift says- haters gona hate

Still haven't moved the first cargo. Wait till then to start bragging. Over budget and time. Not good. One day we may say this was a successful project but that day will be years from now. Time will tell.
