The most under represented person of management in all companies is the Hispanic male. You see white men/women everywhere in management, blacks two for both sexs. Indians and Asians get a fair share as well. Hispanics get no management jobs regardless of education, experience and professionalism. Most people think of Hispanics as road workers and cleaning ladies. It's a shame.

If you are a female indian, you have it made in the shade at baker u.s. Hardly need to show up for work.

Although what festus wrote did sound sexist. In truth how many women actually come back after two children ? I would say a lot of them take the maternity and mothering role to the max . I hear in Europe dad's are getting more rights now to be with their kids ! Well done Europe !

What is bakers paternity policy ?? I have never had time off for my kids.

The problem with HR is the females that are in the positions within HR. They call it the bobble head factor. They want a free ride and stay knocked-up to draw a pay check for nothing!

The retoric for the diversity stuff is pretty bad to be honest . It's written in a hard line feminist view. It's a bit sad that with the crisis that none of the Hr teams have done anything to support male side of this equation. Look at the numbers !! Most of the pay offs are male figures who are the sole earners in their families. Soon you will be seeing the suicide figures in the news of male workers most of who have never been unemployed in their lives becoming victims of this .

But heck just keep banging on about pushing women into white collar office jobs (shaking my head at the insensitivity of Hr department )

Yes the gender bias is out of control. As the start of the thread stated reverse discrimination. You know the HR dead dicks won't try to help.

I haven't seen an excessive amount of affirmative action initiatives based on race or age but gender is totally out of hand. If you are female, there are many opportunities thrown your way that otherwise wouldn't. I have personally seen very qualified men passed up for for women who were much less qualified.

Baker Crackhead Hughes is into affirmative action hot and heavy. It doesn't make any difference if you can't do your job, if you fall into this category you have it made on easy street.

This is a HUGE issue but nothing will be done if you contact HR because there is no 'hard evidence'.
