@GnhyMhmd-2amq: that sounds like a violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. There is a nice "whistleblower" provision in this US law that could result in you getting a nice award for notifying the US authorities. I can post more details if you'd like.
Weatherford is just a big fat money cow for Bernard to milk for this own personal income and he don't care about anything
yep and everybody knows it including our CEO and he doesnt care about this company
in one project in a third world country we were paying bribes to keep the business going and if you even thought about reporting that you would be fired in a heartbeat. the strange thing was we were losing money on that contract and paying money to keep it going. go figure
Incompetent No, that would imply that the individuals working for Weatherford do not know the job they are doing for clients (that would be some of you posting on this sight) there are many competent people who have and still do work for WFT.
Misguided, leaderless... mismanaged... Most certainly. Seems they cannot even decide on how the company is organization, how may organizational changes have there been in the last couple of years? The management blunders I have witnessed over the years are too many to count. But the biggest reason WFT will never have any real success is culture, there has never been one WFT no matter how many times you hear it or say it.
You must be a VP somewhere as that's the only thing that would explain it. No wonder our company is in such a mess managed by people like you
Total bullshit if you want us to believe you had a 40% increase in your salary in 1 year...
you should be laid off
yes they are. i worked for baker and halliburton and weatherford are paying me a 6 figure salary and i dont do sh-- and nobody pulls me up about it. its just so easy to take the money here and not deliver on anything and nobody asks or questions me on my input. last year was an additional 40% of my salary and my boss allowed me to fill in my objectives at the end of the year 12 months after i should have set them. easy street and easy money and long may it last but I suspect to won't last too long unfortunately. Can we really make this much money for doing nothing - probably not but enjoy it while it lasts
Yes totally useless ,
When a company can take 6 to 8 weeks to raise an internal PO, it's no wonder they are in the current financial state !
Also to many VP's and Directors.
With the VP's having no to little power in the Regions/Countries to make them listen to the stupid mistakes they continue to make!
And even more the countries don't even listen to the regional managers and just do what the f*ck they want anyway.
Good riddance WFT....!
No baker hughes holds that card
Yes. Losing all that radioactive material in Iraq, and then saying it was not a problem. Come on.
yup when i talk with wfd managers they are always complaining about stupid rules and decisions from higher management they have to follow that results in poor outcomes for the business and corruption sometimes. this make the company perform very poorly and doesnt provide motivation for employees
Absolutely, probably the most screwed up company out there. Bad arrogant management, piss poor systems, way too much paperwork to get the job out on time and too many staff don't know their ass from their elbow !!! That doesn't include the drag put on the job by useless safety and QHSE regulations......shall I go on ??
they never change the CEO even though his strategies have totally screwed up this company and he still gets a big pay rise every year. So underperformance is rewarded in WFD and thus assures the company stays in a downward spiral of incompetence
yes and
1) look at the financial results to see why the are so screwed up
2) ask anybody in the oil and gas industry about them and you will get the same answer
