At least they're handing out the packages personally. I worked for a company that held an All Hands meeting and told folks at the end (to give them time) that when you returned to your cube if there was a box on it, it was to pack your things. Bad moment for all as they walked back to their desks to see who did and didn't have a box. I thought that was a pretty mean way to do it.
