We are told to park in front of the store now so it will look like there are actually customers in here.

And we used to be told park on the side so the customers are closer to the store!! Security used to come get you to move your car if you were too close!!!
Sounds like our store. Were told to park where customers park. Still no customers
Guess it depends if there is enough employees left.....what? 6-7 extra cars? and some ride the bus 'cause it's hard to afford a vehicle on our salary. Maybe Eddie can put dummy junkers in each parking lot to boost the image.
We've been doing that at our KMart for years also. How pathetic. Lets not get customers into our store with enough employees to help them, great products and great product (or as corporate would say, "A WOW experience" Lets get them in by deception. Deception is what this company is all about

We have been told the same thing at our Cape Girardeau store. This is a fairly new grand store...a great big empty grand void of customers. The great failed grand experiment.
