Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Employee Satisfaction Survey

If my memory serves me correctly the bank didn't have an employee satisfaction survey last year. So I wonder if there will be one for this year and wonder how many employees are going to be honest oppose to sugar coating things after all of these more frequently layoffs which leads to more work for those left behind because Mr BOA and his direct reports continue to be greedy at the expense of hard working under paid middle class employees. Therefore, most folks have to work more than one job just to make ends meet while Senior leaders gain additional money in which they only bark out task AND Don actually do the work. It must be nice to own million dollar homes, fly on private jets, luxury cars and travel on business every damn week or month knowing most of the business travel can be done virtually. ATTENTION ALL EMPLOYEES BE HONEST ON THE EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION SURVEY. DO NOT SUGAR COAT IT BECAUSE THE END RESULTS SHOULD SHOW MR BOA AND HIS DIRECT REPORTS THAT A CHANGE NEEDS TO BE MADE ON HOW THE TREAT THEIR EMPLOYEES.

IF they do not like a department’s survey answers they open it up to a larger survey basis to skew the results until they reach a good review. Statistic surveys are rigged- mean median middle and skewed.

I can make any survey look good. They needed to open our survey up to a larger sample size to pass. very funny.

I have been blatently honest in those surveys for over twenty years and all I have seen is benefits go away while the economy get better and the upper crust management get bigger and bigger salaries.

The employee satisfaction survey is costly & ineffective so don't expect one anytime soon. When they did do the survey, change was minimal and ineffective. I do admire your moxy to fight for change!

This is sad. No new ideas, no debate to do the right thing and do it right, no questioning the pecking order for the betterment of the company....this is really sad, but so very true. It is all about taking care of self only. Gone are the good old days of loyalty to the company, speaking up, doing the right thing and not getting punished for it.

I think the most important takeway from all of this is to take care of each other, fly under the radar and avoid confrotation....yes do your job and do it well, but do it beause of a personal committment to oneself, not for the stupid organization.

Nobody cares about those surveys. I've seen horror results in the past and nothing changed- people whose names were mentioned got promoted later on. Do your job to the best of your abilities and if your name ends up on layoff list you can take your expertise somewhere else. I think most of us are spoiled with being able to work in our pajamas while our kids are running around and dinner is being cooked. Be happy it lasted thus far. Oh, I'm not HR or anything like that, just being honest.

correct no employee satisfaction survery last year, but survery is coming in 3Q this year.....interesting however, I've been part of roundtables in the past where we got into groups and were solicitated verbal comments on satisfaction within my LOB, frankly the satisfation surverys really don't mean anything, this is just another management routine. My current LOB head is a jackass,no industry knowledge of what we do, in fact, during our F2F he told our group (because as most of you know) the PDP objectives are due at the end of the month, "write your own" objectives "you are all professionals and don't need to be told how to write them".........haha funny, now I wonder if HR found about that what do you think they would say? it's call MERRILL-ZATION of the Bank.
