I saw a post on the HAL side that the integration teams were starting to disband. Does anyone think the activity level or staffing levels of the integration teams could be an early indicator they are preparing to pull the plug on this disaster?

The company hired to do the integration work (like who you hire to handle mergers and acquisitions) was let go. THAT is a sign.
With the European Commision's announcement yesterday that they are suspending their review yet again, it looks like the next news will be the end of April when the two boards will either extend the deal again or hopefully accept reality and euthanize this mistake.
More like a Disintegration squad made up of muppets.
I wouldn't put too much credence in that post on HAL's site. Zero confirmation anywhere. I see nothing at NorthBelt to support that post.

In my opinion, the integration teams would Not disband until the two companies are joined. This could be a sign the deal is off, or maybe wrong in my thinking? The deal has taken way too long. With the downturn in the O&G business, this has been a disaster looking at it from the outside. Who really knows?
The deal will be completed, too much money spent in the last two years. If it doesn't make it hang on you think there have been a lot of layoff's. You haven't seen anything yet
