Stores( Kmart-Sears) are increasing their prices slowly. Have you all noticed...been doing it gradually so nobody notices (I guess they think members or non-members will not notice). Raise prices then when items go on sale the sale prices is the original price.

You can report deceptive pricing anonymously. Most states have hotlines or ways to do this without giving your name.
Would like to report the deceptive pricing, but the store management will retaliate for sure......
If any of you feel that a store is deceptively price fixing merchandise, you should contact your local Federal Weights and Measures and they'll send an undercover inspector to that store location. If a store fails a Weights and Measures inspection, they will be fined and possibly civil charges could be brought against the company.
I always ask the member if they want to use the rewards points. I feel the member earns them they should be able to use them.
Yes I have noticed that cashiers at Kmart and Sears DO NOT tell you or ask you about your rewards...I have to ask EVERY TIME, I know I have rewards, even have to tell them that YES I want to use them....you would think making an employee purchase that the cashiers would help their fellow associates. Also noticed that fellow associates are out for themselves more so than ever, not has helpful or twisting everything that is said and done, plus really buttering up to the "upper associates" to make themselves look sooooo good... Using the phrase "upper associates" because there is no management.
Cashiers are not allowed to tell the customer (I was never so sick of them making us refer to customers as members) that they have rewards. They wanted the customers to forget about their rewards so they would expire. I also heard that a store manager was scolded around Christmas for giving away to much because of people using their rewards. Corporate are the ones that started the rewards program not the store manager.
Lost many customers who have noticed the deception. Had a customer request a manager and told the manager that they felt taken advantage of.
I noticed they where doing that at Kmart six months ago, and my manager had me cut off the prices on all the every day great price merchandise and put up raised price signs, and normal merchandise coming in marked at much high price points, but always having sale signs that are 30, 40 or 50% off, as well as they are not doing the usual clearance markdowns for seasonal things. Our appreal sales have plummeted along with the other dept. in hardlines.
