Title says it all really. Was my first job in O&G and I'm pretty young. Wish I could have stayed longer and my boss' boss even said we had good job security about 3-4 months ago. Zero notice. Not really angry but disappointed and sad instead. I knew if anyone was to be cut from the department it'd be me since I'm the least experienced due to age/time but it's life.

Was cut loose yesterday. 15yrs with the company.
Was in a similar situation at SHP. Guess it's becuz we're young and could find another job easier than some others. My consolation is that most people have experienced this at least once in the oilfield business. Moving on ...
