Any estimates?

Thanks, 1fld, for the recent and authoritative sourced information. Very interesting.
back in November 2015 Bloomberg reported 250,000 globally and FuelFix reported 50,000+ in Texas alone. RigZone reported the same number on January 4, 2016. USA reported 258,000 globally on January 8, 2016.
on March 23, 2016 FuelFix reported "Around 72,000 Texas workers lost jobs in the energy industry in 2015, and the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers estimates that another 40,000 could lose jobs this year — roughly 10,000 workers each quarter."
What do we know? I bet Butthurt Bob or the Deadwood dude knows.
