Any updates on what is going on there? I heard that Wafra might re-open, but no news about that either. Are there any expats left there in the Al-zour camp?

All of expats or close to it are gone as the work permits expired and Q8 refuses still to renew or write new ones. The beautiful recently rehabbed pearl of a camp in the best beach in Kuwait is inhabited only by Saudis, wild dogs and cats, and scorpions. Maybe a few Indians and Pakistani subcontractors for 3rd party companies that Q8 Labor Ministry doesn't know do work for the evil SAC.
Just a short matter of time before the they start expanding the luxury chalets from the north or refinery operations from the south. It'll be fun to see if the Saudis send trips up the 40 to defend their peninsula.
