Gathering from all the posts here:

  • Don't speak up...If you do, you are on the list.

  • If you are not your boss's, or his/her boss's or his/her boss's favorite and well known and liked, and you still question protocol, or speak up your innovative ideas, you are on the list.

  • If you are a work-from-home employee, with no hub location in your city, you are on the list.

  • If you are still a work-from-home employee in a hub location and there is no cubicle space for you, you are on the list.

  • If you are on the high-end of performance, and a threat to your boss, you are on the list.

  • If you are at the top earning cap of your band (and you know this if your merit increase is zero or of lower percentage compared to your peers), and your boss is the next band level, you are on the list.

  • If you are asked to cross-train (so "we" are not left in the cold if the bus hits you scenario), you are on the list.

  • If you are asked to document to excruciating detail what you do, even daily mundane tasks, you are on the list.

  • If you are not a brown-nose, you are on the list.

  • If you can be replaced by a brown nose and all you might be on the list.

Cross between Letterman and Foxworthy attempted to help get a few smiles. My prayers are with each of you who have been loyal to the bank and were let go so unceremoniously (me included)... as many have said it here, those good old days and loyalty-culture unfortunately no longer exists. Loosen up a bit, know that there is still a big world out there, have faith, smile, chin-up and renew or begin new. Wishing all of us the best as life goes on!

Formula in my org was big boss' level of likeness toward the canned ones. Nothing more, nothing less.

I heard there will be layoffs EVERY week until the end of the year. That is ALOTof frigging layoffs! Sadly, our leadership team is driving the company to the ground. I hear the strategy is on the amt you are compensated, performance and combining job functions. So sad, wish everyone impacted the best of luck. Consider it a new beginning for you!

Someone mentioned on here a while ago June is supposed to have big layoffs. It seems like they do layoffs every month and it goes on all year long.

Layoffs have been happening here for years. There is no reason to assume they will end any time soon. Keep in mind that there are many that aren't reported on this site.
