Most of us are familiar with the old saying "what goes around comes around." Well, welcome to your future. I'll soon be coming for you. But rest assured. I know you have done much to help the student. It wasn't all about getting or even warning them-was it? It wasn't about self-serving rationalizations-was it? It was merely about self preservation-wasn't it? So now the true pitiless black heart of the heart of darkness will once again reveal itself. Why? Because it has never really gone away-has it? The party is slowly but surely coming to an end. The life-blood over the years has been slowly but inexorably drained. Just as they are, you will soon be, just another forgotten head count. But be proud of all you've accomplished because they too will always be waiting for you.
