Im hoping the comments about sw region were.decidedly tongue in cheek...that place is already a decade behind other regions on so many levels.

Nepotism? It was born here in ATX

The best "region" is your local state college or university where you can put your knowledge and ideas to work to obtain a better career. But if you choose to stay in chain retail, get into real estate, facilities , purchasing, accounting or vendor relations so you can get out of the daily grind. It doesn't get any easier. If food is your thing then go to work for a small company that you LOVE.

My suggestion is to look outside of Whole Foods altogether. Every region is plagued with corruption and bad leadership. The company is going down the drain so get out while you can.

I'm not sure which is worse: working in the SW region or working for Trump. Either way, I'll be working for a campaign of idiots

You better skip the South...where they run the region like a plantation and an overweight Vice President of Nothing travels around eating everything in sight and is proud of it

The SW region is the best for accountable leadership. There are definitely no signs of nepotism or favoritism. One of their VPs just got promoted to a Global position! Smart work and dedication pays off in that region.

How are the stores in Washington State and Oregon?

How about the region of "Dream on" because regardless of what region you choose it's just a different flavor of disorganization and incompetence adding up to one massive clusterfudge with coconut milk cream substitute topping and an overpriced organic raspberry on top.

Seriously, not the MW! Also avoid ANY position that puts you in the Global group -- you'll likely get paid LESS than the rate of the people in your region.

Or, you know, just find a place that's not WFM. You'll be a LOT happier!

What's the latest with the recent/ up coming marketing layoffs? Was severance indeed offered? This was to take place by FP 10?

Ha ha ha!! True that! I've had only one marginally good STL, but even he was a womanizer. They tend to stay in their secret clubhouse. AKA : the STL office.

Well, not MA. This region's a damned nightmare. NO accountability for any of the STLs here either.
