Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Class Action LS won' help, will only cost you $$$ for an Attornry - FILE A COMPLAINT WITH EEOC

https://www.eeoc.gov/employees/charge.cfm

There are so many ees on here stating they wish to file a lawsuit, I'm so very sorry to tell you that HR Legal are mostlyn employment attorneys. If you suspect you have been wrongfully terminated due to your age, and are one of many "I got SSL4 out of the blue" then I highly suggest that you file a complaint with the EEOC. When you signed your package docs you agreed not to sue Intel however, if you file a claim with EEOC, the EEOC sues Intel, not you. Further, if the EEOC receives an influx of complaints which have a theme, it bolsters the validity of each claim.

Instead of posting your age and how many years on this blog, send it to the agency who can help you, they will handle a class action for you and you don't need to pay an attorney to do it. If Intel is slapped with a charge from the EEOC its more damaging than a one-off lawsuit or civil CA filed by what they will call "disgruntled employees". Good luck to everyone on your future endeavors....

I can't more strongly support the suggestion of filing a complaint with the EEOC. If enough people file the EEOC will have no choice but to do an investigation and if they find data, they will sue Intel for ALL of us. No $$'s out of our pocket.

Does everyone remember SET??? Well, the EEOC was the agency that got the ball rolling.

Does anyone remember that Intel and others cheated us out of our pay? I don't know how that got discovered but I suspect the EEOC was involved simply because they are federal and can cross state lines to look at a companies behavior.

Stand up and be counted. I personally am working on my EEOC complaint. I will post more information on EEOC in AZ. I know for example they are closed on Wednesday. Also, if they find merit w/ your complaint, they will issue you with a "right to sue" and that carries weight w/ the federal court system.

The assessment has ended for the following reason:

You selected CA as the state in which the incident occurred.

The anti-discrimination laws give you a limited amount of time to file a charge of discrimination. Figuring out how much time you have to file a charge is complicated. Depending on where the incident occurred, you typically have 180 or 300 days to file a charge. From the information you gave us, it looks like your time has run out or may be about to run out.

Please contact your nearest EEOC office as soon as possible so we can figure out whether you still have time to file a charge.
