if you have any doubts about this you need to wake up - i've seen some delusional posts on this site and people still think that there is hope, for those folks i say wake up

-isq, NM site was ruined on purpose by corrupt management. By a large majority the local community supported intel. To believe that a couple neighbors took NM intel down demonstrates that you were a victim of management propaganda.
We left NM three years ago - the writing has been on the wall for quite some time.
It is a shame, I liked the community - except for the group of people who hated Intel with a burning passion because it was ugly and omg a factory - but couldn't comprehend that without Intel the economy there will tank.
Looks like they will get their wishes soon, shoulda been more careful about what they wished for.
Yep F11x was great. Andy grove said it are resources like an elephant and p--ped out production like a butterfly. Or how about the time they were 6 months late with first full loop. Or the poor quality. Paper forums that needed end of line data for a simple change. That fab was never good.
Much earlier than 2018. Most employees out the door by EOY 2016. (de)construction contract workers on site for at least 4 years.
I'm there now. No future at all. Last wafer out maybe early 2018. Nothing in the pipeline whatsoever, at least nothing that anyone in management knows about. Sad...once a flagship factory that got the job done no matter what.
