So I'm responsible for a module for an IOT device, and since I'm the only one that really knows how to do it, I've sort of in the spotlight trying to get this delivered for an alpha release over the past 3 weeks. We had to move it into QA early, so I met the QA lead, which turned out to be a she. Man, she's pretty hot. Yes, she's Indian. She's 5' 7", and is pretty fit because she goes to the company gym almost every day, and it seems she spent most of her time in the U.S. Definite 9 out of 10, even by California standards, because she has a fairly light complexion. And the best part, is she's pretty smart. Also, as a bonus...single... I guess she intimidates too many people. But she's really nice to me. She bumped into me at the gym, and started to chit-chat "Hi XXXX. How are you? How do you like it here for the past 3 weeks? People say you're the go to guy for the YYYY device... "...We start talking about things do, places to eat. She went to Berkeley, I think. And towards the end she's like, "well, I haven't seen the new Captain America movie, if you're interested let me know...." I'm like score. Holy crap, a woman that wants to see Captain America? Sign me up. The problem is I never like to mix personal relationships at work. But hey, it's not like I went looking for this. So, if she brings it up again, I think I'll take her up on the offer.

Good for both of you! If you guys start dating, you would definitely need to tell management/ hr and one of you could ask to be moved off the project. It happens a lot, and people (team-mates) will understand. I say go for it! Work is way overrated but love is not.
