Why you give Indian hard time? We come here because someone give us a chance to get away from sh--ty life in sh--ty India. Be mad at ur CEO. Why you expect us to know every about coding and engineering? Recruiter say just say you can do it, and poof I'm here. Easy! Again get made at our CEO.

Why we give Indian hard time is because most bad engineer Indians were hired by other Indian managers at Intel who also hired other arranged marriage material who totally did not know anything. Indian managers are frequently very negative in a way of passive or active politics which might be part of why in India there is so much corruption. Indians often game system, which is same for Wipro, Tata and other outsourcing companies who are gaming US system through unfortunate combination of number of factors here in US. If you open up and really listen you might face this and be on a good path or you have a choice of denying or pretending you do not see it or labeling anybody that says anything unpleasant as not ideal, which in some cases here is more than true and if I'd meet those I'd chase them too.
I have to agree with post below, have never heard of anyone begging to get Tata, Wipro, Infosys workers, mostly see warnings not to hire them.

Study hard, don't do weed and drink. Go to college and study STEM and get PHD. Trust me I called Joe US Citizen and always have him extra look, of course Tyronne and Jose got triple look, LOL
... H1B has its share of scam as any other system....and Indians have truly misused the system as majority of the case....

TCS/Infosys/Wipro get the maximum number of visas....... how come they have employees are all better than US employees..... it is case of criminal corruption
LOL @ OP. sounds about right, this lady who used to be in my team was hired because her H1B husband was a manager. She didn't even know basic stuff and was often too scared to tell some fat eccentric developer that his code has a bug.
