Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

BK glassdoor approval down by 10% in last month

Guys, CEO approval by employees carries significant weight in board's decision of leadership change. A few weeks ago, I called for everyone at Intel to review your job at glassdoor and give BK and poor approval rating. BK's approval rating now stands at 73%, a decrease of 5% since my last post and a decrease of about 10% in 30 days.

I'm requesting more of you to go to glassdoor and vote him down.

Hold on, until you suggest better candidate for CEO do not vote down current one, even if you could since he is one of strongest shareholders or Intel owners. Better candidate has to be really better and please do not even try to mention a joke like Murthy or most of reports either.

dlr how much debt does intel have LOL

BK needs to make more aggressive cost cuts than the current 12k as revenue will fall and new technology and products on the next node will all be very very very late.

More layoffs in the 20k total perhaps 30k will be necessary to preserve the current GM

I agree that intel is going in the wrong direction. However they are still holding 15 billion in cash on the books and making 11 billion in net income yearly. Its a shame that with that much cash and that much profit, BK keeps investing in failing ventures instead of following the market. With the right leader at the help, i think this ship can be turned.

The way down is long - look at where Qualcomm CEO is at the moment (59%). CEO score is averaged over a long period of time.

But the trend is clear and intel will not become what it used to be ever again.

Only down 10%? He must have family, relatives and friends going to the site to give him a good rating.

There's no way his actual rating is that high. And the board doesn't care what employees think, sorry to break it to you. They "should" care, but they don't.

Wouldn't be surprised if HR is submitting positive job reviews en masse to pump up approval ratings.

I suspect his approval rating would be lower if all the negative reviews were included. Glass door has an annoying habit of removing some reviews at the request of key employers. (It is very much like Yelp.)
