Last I heard was San Antonio to close pressure pumping first week of June!

Before BHI acquired BJS, you could throw a rock in any direction in Texas and hit a district. Even when it got slow and districts merged, the Company was still competing for work. Now all I seen is districts closing, crews and equipment idled while BHI no longer completes for jobs. Wonder if BHI is actively looking for another buyer for the Pressure Pumping division or if they have decided to write off the acquisition? PP can't really be that attractive a sell if BHI isn't willing to sell it as a viable entity. So much for the concern about competition, if they let the PP side disappear, then the only two companies really competing will be Halliburton and Schlumberger.
We see lots of PP district close very soon. Overheard from meeting on loud speaker phone of high level manager.
I thought Alice closed last year?
Is San Antonio PP only? If not, they could easily close PP and leave other product lines.
Don't see them closing San Antonio, spent too much money building that facility and personnel have been moved there as other locations have closed. It is centrally located. Alice will close before San Antonio does.
maybe keep Alice open? but no one will return to work when it rebounds. hiring fairs still never filled all slots from 2009-10.
sort of reverse blacklist? or karma?
