No one is blaming Obama for anything. His administration is doing what should have been done the millisecond Corporate America began investing so heavily in For Profit Higher Education. He's passing legislation, pursuing regulatory oversight, and seeking justice through the courts. There's nothing wrong with any of that. Many consider his actions punitive. I consider them just, fair, and acting in the public interest.

Wake up people!! This school is charging 1000% more than it should for its product. It deserves to be shut down. I'm just glad I was able to ride the gravy train for years!! Blaming Obama is stupid!! Government should have shut this place and places like this down years ago. No way we should be changing anything close to a Harvard degree. Free market right LOL.
Under Obama, the DoE has pushed For Profits to the brink with new regulations, heavily restricted access to government backed student loans and a student loan forgiveness program. I could go on. Obama himself expressed remorse that he had failed to put the For Profits out of business during his first term.
He made up for it all in his second and it appears to be working. Look at EDMC. With stock at .03 cents a share and a Market Cap at 4.7 million dollars, is EDMC going to make it till June 23? I understand that those in charge are winding down operations slowly but this is well past being ridiculous. This is now absurdly pathetic. Forget about restructuring. Shut the place down. The students want it. the faculty want it. The Obama administration wants it. The only people who don't want it are the incompetent administrators who've been mismanaging the business for years.
Shut the place down. Do it now.
@HEMqwjB-2mta's answer was very good. The Obama administration has no intention in closing EDMC. If you want to put blame out, blame Goldman Sachs and Todd S. Nelson. They are the ones who wanted to make maximize short-term profits--until they bailed--and cleaned their prints from the crime scene.
