So there have been open forums in OR, SC, FM for different departments btw yesterday and today. Any news? Also, any additional cuts from efficiency actions so far this week? Pls post what you know.

Anybody who still thinks this is a headcount reduction has their head up their a--.
It is so obvious it is all about replacing expensive, long-time loyal Intel employees with cheap RCG and H1B slave labor, plus moving as much jobs overseas as possible to low-cost geos.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if Intel ended 2016 with the same number of employees it started the year.
We are already into 2017, The predictions of 20% reduction by Q1, 17 will be true soon. Awesome people left and immediately replaced with RCGs to reduce the reduction number. Just wait till the focal is delivered and we might surpass the prediction.

The answer is NO. In open forum confirmed efficiency measures post isp/vsp need to hit 20% reductions. Eta is all the way to q1 17.
Interesting that Doug Davis stuck to the corporate script on everything including VSP, focal, SSL4, etc....and all the while he has told people in private that he's leaving because he doesn't believe in the future of IOT at In-hell.

Plz, someone share the details from the other sites!! AZ is having a 2nd open forum tomorrow (with the same people, Doug and Ogden, as before.). The first open forum hit capacity 10 min before starting, so it was a 70 min open forum. Should be interesting now that this Trump news is out.
