This is an official statement by the comp on WHS layoffs in Cali and Webster:
Xerox continues restructuring activities as identified in the 4th and again in the 1st quarter earnings announcements.
These restructuring activities affect all parts of the company, including warehouse operations in Webster and California. Business today requires greater flexibility and the need to remain competitive.
We continually review our operations to find those ways. As a result we are planning to close our consumable supplies warehouses in Webster and Cerritos and partner with a third party logistics provider to manage those operations.
