What is status of mywork return to office edict?

Anyone have insight on the status of the my work edict, I haven't heard anything yet at least in my group, I know it was rolling along, but then it was placed on hold.....btw I work in the office.

If it is not on hold, it has slowed down significantly because of issues with space. The only places with room to accommodate people returning from ear program is Texas. Everywhere else is full or already committed. Means that until they make more space (ie lay more people off since acquiring real estate space is not an option) MW people can expect to stay at home for the foreseeable future.

1hyd - your comments may sound funny, but on the mark. Yes, office decorum has certainly deteriorated, in dress code, and in overall professionalism... I speak of this from a few months back. Gone are the days when people would show up before 8am into office; Whereas in MyWork, people would be logged in, messages checked and ready for 8am conference calls...oh well!

I don't think it's on hold... I go back to the office starting next week. I know others have been told it's coming. I'm with the poster below.. 40 hours a week will be a breeze and I've started as of last week logging off at 5. I'll be filling that elevator at 4 pm too so I can start my 45 minute drive home (that should normally take 20).. my schedule will be based on traffic. If I have to sit alone and still talk to my team via phone and MOC.. I'll do at my convenience.

Placed on hold? .. seriously, I was just forced back in, and if they place the push back to the office on hold, I will be very peeved. Miserable here. Battling an hour in traffic some days just to sit in a cubicle surrounded by total strangers , mostly contractors, so I can telecommute to my team. Everyone I used to work with locally has been laid off years ago. Office decorum has deteriorated.. very difficult to concentrate with people using speaker phones , walking around talking into a phone.. The one good thing... no more working regular 60 , 80 hour weeks in gratitude for the privilege of MyWork. And because of the VPN restrictions - no more working from home when sick, I now take sick days. I find it amusing to hear so many comments about slacker MyWork folks when everyone I knew on the program was still online at 8 pm, while most of the employees in my building don't show up until 9, and the elevator starts filling up at 4.
