Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

In CCG employees offered VSP but did not take it are now getting the "mandatory VSP*". What is happening to people in DCG who declined VSP ?

*Mandatory VSP = you are laid off, with 30 days to find a job. If you get another job internally, you forfeit the package. If you don't you take the package and exit. Did anyone with VSP get an ISP after declining VSP (ISP = immediate exit with ban on being rehired) ?

I was in CCG and this post is accurate, about half the people in my old division are in this mandatory VSP state. The other half managed to find other jobs or were part of the first ISP round.

An efficiency-based ISP would in fact be eligible for rehire...

if rumors are to be believed, DCG made their targets so people in DCG who declined VSP are probably in the clear till next focal cycle

Project based efficiency cuts or by redundant job role. No VSP > ISP

No! This isn't happening - anywhere is far as I can tell. VSP has not turned into ISP and in all likelihood it will not.

If your group still needs to do efficiency cuts, those who declined VSP could be the targets?
