If Diane Bryant is so unhappy about lack of women in Silicon Valley high tech, then why does she not look in her own backyard at Intel?
I am a female senior engineer with a very marketable skill set, but I have never seen a more gender bias company than I have at Intel. And I have worked for quite a few big corporations and startups. The same behaviors and traits that are seen as virtues in men are viewed as negative in women. The "Silent War on Women" is very strong at Intel. A lot of missed opportunities for a senior technical woman at Intel.
Intel is not interested in retaining good female engineers like BK said in his 30M diversity initiative.

I'm a female and asked her some questions after an open forum. She was nice and gave me the names of people I could connect with and asked to be cc'd on the email. The folks she connected me with were very helpful, and I got the information I was looking for right away.
Any moron can run DCG without any competitors. Once the ARM servers ramp up and margins collapse, we'll see how she does.
