Although I only have a HS degree, I have been a splicer, Gallo and fiber tech. I was told I had to take a test for an engineering position. I said no problem, they sent me the paperwork to study for it. It basically was that art test you see on the back of a matchbook. You know the one, can you draw this parrot or rabbit. So I tried drawing the rabbit and it came out pretty good, so good, I was asked if I wanted to pursue a management position in Engineering? Go figure? I said sure, they said I would have to take a test, I think it a mgrend12 bell lab test. Again, I had to draw a few drop line to house drawings, and a few questions like, where would I place a Xbox near a school, etc..last section I had to draw a horse and a cowboy...I think I nailed it!...

Congrats on passing, I became an Engineer three years ago, I drew the cowboy and horse picture perfect as well. My parents and wife are so proud that I'm an engineer.. To think my brother in law is an engineer, he went to MIT and Columbia, he has a masters degree in Engineering. He doesn't make as much as I do, as a union "engineer" and I hate when I see him because he tends to ask questions about real engineering and I always deflect them. If he knew I took a test, drew a horse to get my engineering title with just a HS degree, he would freak out..lol
OP was funny, @lah was not.
Get your management and union terminology straight before posting...numbnuts
EA doesn't mean eng assoc
lol. What year did you take this test? VZ wouldn't place a new cross connect box at gunpoint.
Dumbass
LOL I needed a good laugh! Thanks!
I just applied to be a troll on the internet. First I had to interview. The interview was one question:
"After you defecate, do you wipe with your left hand or your right?"
"Whatta you mean, 'wipe'?" I asked. "Wipe what?"
I was hired on the spot.
