Landscaper Cut My Fiber Line, Union Guy Took All Day To Fix It

All he did in the end was lay a temporary drop. He said my drop could be aerial or something. He sat in his truck for a lot of the time on the phone and then left as he had to go to the CO to get tools. He arrived at 8:45 and finally left just before 5:00.

" 20-1 they didn't speak English and came packed in a beat up van"

When Verizon guys show up, it looks like they were released someone from a Bronx Men's shelter.

Now you know why the union fights VZ for hiring contractor labor, they do crap work. 20-1 they didn't speak English and came packed in a beat up van?

My point was that verizon contractors dont burry the fiber that deep. There are tons out there that are not even 1in deep. My point is i will not pay a repair bill if verizon does not do their job right (or hold contractor accountable) and if it is deep enough, as long as i do a 1call i am covered . Verizon wont evem come out and mark their lines in time

You shovel monkeys need to start burying cables correctly! Of course they are going to get damaged if a lazy moron leaves exposed for anyone to damage.

As if a customer would come here to complain and call it a temporary drop- another transparent pathetic management hack.

To fez: even if you trench the cable 6" or deeper does not mean that the cable can't be cut. Anything can be cut at any depth, especially when it is not marked , like a utility line.

Customers always use terms like "temporary drop."

If my buried line ever gets cut by anyone i assure you i will not be paying a penny for the repair costs. Instead i will show my bill to local tv station and invite them to see how shallow the verizon contractors "bury" and then show them the the papwers where it says they are required to "bury" it 6-18 in deep. Op- your post is a outright lie. I would be too f---ing bored watching your wife using her dildo for that long.

Laid off vz -

Landscaper cuts fiber and vz picks up the repair cost? The management person that allows this needs to be Rif'd for pissing away company profits

Well verizon should have charged you for burying the fiber.or you should of had a conduit placed cost to you, but your probably a cheapo and you probably want verizon to pay for the buried conduit.

Why didn't the slob trench the cable, like he is supposed to? It would good practice when he starts his next career at Home Depot's Garden Center.

"Tell your (alleged) landscaper to fix it then..."

Great advise Mr Union genius, suggesting landscapers should do your repair work. Should my landscaper be called to look at my occasional pixelation problems, too?

You lying POS. How stupid. A 'real' customer would go to fb, twitter, or contact the company. But instead they go to thelayoff.com.
