Thread regarding National Oilwell Varco Inc. layoffs

3 Month Redundant Cycles

Well most of our site Managers know what is happening , here in the UK and which sites are going to survive!! . Or be moved to the US . That's why they are paying off small amounts of people around 17-20 at a time so they don,t have pay further redundancy payments here in the UK. If you look at Facilitys where this has happen , you can bet that these are the facilites are the ones to be shut down. I have heard that within 90 days or there will be only Gateshead and Montrose open in the UK. Any one else heard this ??

It's also been confirmed that the service engineers are going to get hit even harder with redundancies next time round, which is going to happen soon.

If greengate is going then the site manager will be moving on before things get bad... I don't know if this is the case at greengate.
