Take a handful of Mayonnaise packets from the cafeteria to the bathroom to urinate all over them. Pat them dry and put them back where you got them. That's the best way to have the last laugh.

Go grab as many Mayonnaise packets from the cafeteria and stick them in your pocket. Then quietly leave on your last day while knowing YOU got the last laught...that will show'em!

@HQwQVqG-1jxc, So you are acquainted with crooks, thieves and "nere-do-wells" who like to take advantage of people and companies when the opportunity arises and receive pay-offs that they did not work for. I am thoroughly happy and content with my own retirement/pension/savings that is entirely earned through my own hard work and thrilled to death that you are not one of my acquaintances!

@1nqc, I personally have knowledge of a former CVX employee who received a settlement of $1.34 million just last month. That person is a friend of mine and he secretly recorded several damning conversations he had with two managers and an HRBP before he was laid off.

Good Grief. "Gather evidence, Tape Conversations"??? What are you gonna do, sue Chevron for firing your worthless incompetent butt?

What a poor little loser victimized spoiled brat. Anyone who thinks like that knows that they are incompetent and will be discovered and sh-it-canned in a matter of time. Normal hard-working employees don't have those paranoia's. Someone like you should be grateful that you ever got a job and you should be counting your days. You don't have many left. Always someone else's fault for these lawsuit-obsessed play-the-victim types.

Do you realize by now you are just a number? By all means pack your personal items. If you know you were framed by your manager with poor PMPs, gather evidence, emails and tape conversations. It will be very valuable for payback.

Go to the Benefits Connection webpage while still an active employee with a badge to download at least 36 months of your payroll statements in PDF format. Copy these files to a thumb drive. Once you leave the company this information won't be available on the Chevron external site. The 3 years of statements could come in helpful in applying for unemployment benefits, social security, etc.

After you leave the company, you will still be able to get to the pertinent PDF documents, such as the Chevron Retirement Plan, Medical Plans and supporting documents, etc. from the external website at hr2.chevron.com.

OP, you need to clean out your workspace and make sure all of your expense receipts, PMPs, etc. are shredded and gone. Some time ago, I took over someone's office who left involuntarily and he left a lot of personal data in his desk including details of his 401k account. You have two weeks. Take a good look- you don't want to leave any footprint at all. Also, take all of your personal objects (like pictures) home now. You don't want to walk out for the last time with armloads of personal things. That would make it much harder on you. Good Luck.

Get email and phone of your HR Business Partner (and yes they do respond to emails, maybe not quickly, but they do respond. I sent a couple myself). PDFs of any benefits packages. Most are still available outside the intranet, but if you have a copy of them before you leave it can make things easier. If you plan on giving to charity, make a login password for Chevron Humankind matching gift using your home email address. You can do this after you leave, but you have to call them. Order a new version of Microsoft Office for home use at Chevron discounted price if you think you might need it soon for a new PC or whatever.
